What Conditions Can Harmony LITE Treat?

This procedure option effectively treats:

  • Acne
  • Melasma
  • Skin discoloration (red spots and brown spots)
  • Vascular and pigmented lesions
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Unwanted hair

Harmony Lite is an ideal choice for patients with rough or sun-damaged skin and other signs of aging. Combined with a skincare regimen that includes daily sunscreen use, the results of a Harmony LITE procedure are long-lasting. Periodic maintenance treatments extend those results.

Different Uses of Harmony LITE

The versatility of the Harmony LITE platform is one of the reasons for its popularity. It can be used for skin rejuvenation or permanent hair reduction.

DYE-VL

Dye-VL technology is a light-based, non-invasive treatment used to minimize the appearance of certain skin conditions and rejuvenate the skin. We use the DYE-VL handpiece for treating pigmented and vascular lesions. What does that include?

Pigmented lesions: Age spots, freckles, moles, and other blemishes typically caused by sun exposure.

Vascular lesions: Spider veins, hemangioma, rosacea, and other skin conditions involving abnormal veins or blood vessels. Many of these are inherited traits, although some are the result of injury or UV damage.

The DYE-VL emits pulses of light absorbed by the abnormal blood vessels, destroying them without damaging the skin’s surface. A typical treatment takes about 30 minutes, but the exact time needed depends on the specific type of lesion being treated.

SHR™ (Super Hair Removal)

Laser hair removal is consistently one of the most popular cosmetic treatments performed in the U.S. Both women and men come to our Omaha clinics for laser hair removal using Harmony LITE’s proprietary SHR technology, which minimizes patient discomfort without sacrificing excellent results.

It’s an ideal option for people who want to eliminate the hassle of shaving, waxing, or plucking. Treatment sessions—even for larger areas such as a woman’s legs or a man’s back—can be completed in as little as 30 minutes because the In-Motion™ feature and a large spot-size applicator keep the laser in constant motion.

The number of treatment sessions needed to get the desired results varies, but most patients require 3 to 6 sessions spaced 1 to 3 months apart for long-lasting hair reduction. It’s not possible to destroy all hair follicles in a single session because the treatment only targets follicles in the active growth phase, and only a portion of your hair is in that stage at any given time.

You can learn more about how Harmony LITE treatments can improve your skin’s appearance or reduce unwanted hair by requesting an appointment at one of our Omaha clinics using the online form or by calling us at (402) 408-0017.
